How pricing is calculated

The quote is built from the station price and the road distance between that station and your drop-off.

1. Fuel

Litres times the station’s price per litre. If you enter an amount of money instead of litres, the app converts that amount into litres at the same price.

Fuel = litres × station price per litre

2. Distance

We measure the straight-line distance from the station to your pin, then apply a road factor so the trip accounts for actual streets rather than a straight cut across the city.

3. Delivery fee

The fee starts with a base amount, then adds a per-kilometre rate for the road distance. The per-kilometre rate follows the cost of running the delivery bike: fuel the bike uses and upkeep. The result is kept between a minimum fee and a maximum fee so a very short trip still covers the rider, and a long trip does not run away.

Delivery fee = base + (distance × per km), within a minimum and a maximum

4. What you confirm

Total = fuel + delivery fee

That total is the amount you accept in the app. Cash on delivery and in-app card or mobile money use the same quote.
